I am eccentric about the wiki and the voice thread. I will be teaching Spanish so the fact that I can put the lecture online for later reference or that I can put tutorials for pronunciations facilitates methods of learning in the classroom. I believe that by allowing them to correct things on wiki or by them posting blogs that the grammer part of the lecture will be enhanced. It is often difficult for students to receive foreign language assistance outside of the classroom. Through the social bookmarking, blogging, wiki, and voice thread, not only are they able to receive peer assistance but the teacher is also able to explain and further help students at the convinience of their home.

My name is Karla Aranday, I am 20 and I will be a Spanish Teacher for high school students. I believe this is a field where blogging can be a very beneficial activity. When I was in High school we would have pen pals in spanish speaking countries. I think that thru blogging, the idea of "pen pals" is facilitated because it benefits both parties. The students learns to be more active via technology use and can communicate at quicker speed, even after hours, while practicing objectives.
